The Award Jury will be comprised of members of our local art community. Additionally, there will also be one “Community Choice” award, which will be decided by visitors to the gallery from October 12 – 21, 2012. Any accepted works delivered that differ from submitted images will be disqualified..
Sales and Commissions
All works of art must be available for sale. The PJCC receives a 20% commission on all works sold. Please keep this in mind when pricing your entries. If a work is sold the artist will receive the dollar value listed on the entry form less the PJCC’s commission. The PJCC does not guarantee sales.
Submission of art images constitutes an agreement to exhibit any and all selected works. The PJCC will have permission to photograph or reproduce any and all works in the exhibit, together with the artist’s name and picture, for the purpose of publicity and reporting without compensation.
All two-dimensional works must be delivered to the PJCC framed and ready to hang. Tapestry and wall hangings do not require framing, but must arrive ready to hang.
It is suggested that artists carry their own insurance. Every reasonable care will be taken in handling work, but no responsibility will be assumed by the PJCC for any loss or damage incurred in transit. Items will be insured for 80% of the dollar value written on entry form by the PJCC under its “all-risk” wall-to-wall policy.
