PJCC Summer Concert Series

Non Stop Bhangra with Dholrhythms Dance and Riffat Sultana

Sunday, July 23, 2017 • 5:00 PM • Hamlin Garden

Dholrhythms Dance Company kicks off the festivities with a dance performance highlighting the ancestral and ethnic roots of Punjabi dance while pushing boundaries with contemporary influences. The interactive dance lesson gets everyone on their feet, resulting in a fresh and exciting dance full of joy and energy. The party continues with a second act with stunning vocals by Riffat Sultana accompanied by drums and bass. Pack a picnic* or purchase food on-site at this family-friendly event. Picnic blankets and dressing in layers recommended.

The Not-It's! Family Concert With The Not-Its!

Before the kids head back to school, take them "back to cool"! Make the most of the last days of summer and come out for a free "kindie rock" concert. For more than seven years now, The Not-Its! have entertained kids and families with their up-tempo live concerts that give children their first "rock show" experience. Feel free to pack a picnic!* Let's rock!

Dirty Cello brings a high-energy and unique spin on blues and bluegrass. Led by vivacious cross-over cellist Rebecca Roudman, Dirty Cello is cello like you've never heard before. From down home blues with a wailing cello to virtuosic stompin' bluegrass, this band will get your heart thumping! Pack a picnic* or purchase food onsite.
