Family Hip Hop
This high-energy dance class is designed for both boys and girls and their parents who want to learn the latest urban dance steps that are influenced by some of today's hottest video choreographers presented in an age appropriate manner. Elements of the class include proper conditioning and warm-up, individualized dance steps and full-bodied combinations. Dancers of all ages and abilities will love learning these expressive dance steps while dancing to popular songs. Price is for a family of 2. $20 per additional family member. Narrated Notes: Stories Put to Music
In the PJCC's first music appreciation family concert audiences will 'Journey to a Magic World' and get introduced to the loveable 'Ferdinand the Bull' through these two narrated classical works. Led by violinist Joseph Gold and Spanish guitarist/composer Jaume Torrent the sound of strings will come alive.
The 45-minute concert is appropriate for children 6 years and older and their parents. Younger siblings who are able to sit quietly during the performance are also welcome.
Joseph Gold, violin, has been praised on four continents for his brilliant interpretations of the great repertoire for violin of the nineteenth-century violin virtuosos of Paganini, Sarasate, Bazzini, and others.
Jaume Torrent, guitarist/composer, is one of Spain's most important musicians. For many years Jaume led the famous guitar quartet known as Quartet Tarragó.
