Birthday Parties

Celebrate Your Child's Birthday

The PJCC would love to host your child's birthday party. And we’ll help you make his or her day just their way. What kind of party do they want?

Whatever theme you choose, we’ll provide the basic service you need. All party packages include:

• One hour of themed activity
• One hour in an indoor room or outdoor location
• Tables and chairs for food and presents
• One party attendant to supervise and help with set-up and clean-up
• Equipment and supplies for your chosen theme

Add-ons include food packages and a jump house.

Arts & Crafts Parties

Express yourself.

Love to create? When you have an Arts & Crafts party, your creations will always remind you of your birthday. Maximum of 12 children. Choose from the following options:

• “Personalize Your Pillowcase” — Decorate your own pillowcase using puffy paint, fabric crayons, fabric paint and silk screen paint. Pillowcase included.
• Air Dry Clay Sculpture — Create a decorative sculpture with air dry clay, wire cutter, small pieces of cardboard, acrylic paint, brushes, clay tools, fabric and other craft materials.
• Sand Painting — Use cardboard, white glue, pencils, glue brushes, sand, newspaper and natural objects, such as sticks, stones and leaves to create a sand painting masterpiece.

Sit back and relax in a canopy “salon.”

A glamorous birthday party awaits you and your friends. Fee includes 2 hours with the Hair Princess with a maximum of 15 children.

Mad Science® Party

Explore with the experienced staff of Mad Science®.

At the end of each party, every child will make their own Slime, Silly Putty or Super Bouncy Balls as a party favor to take home! Fee is for up to 14 children. Fees per additional child determined by Mad Science®.

• Eggbert Party – Children, ages 5 – 8, will enjoy experiments such as recycling Styrofoam, making water disappear and watching Eggbert go in and out of his flask ‘house' by using air pressure.
• Indoor Fireworks and Lightning Party. Children, ages 8 - 12, will explore how fireworks get their colors, mini bolts of ‘lightning' and black light.

Frequently Asked Questions

What days and times are available to have a party?

Our parties are held on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 – 2:00 pm or 3:00 – 5:00 pm. The gymnasium parties are available from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday or Sunday at the times above.

How far in advance do I need to book a party?

We ask for a minimum of 2 weeks notice, although most parties book an average of 4 – 6 weeks in advance.

What do I need to do to book a party?

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit to book the date. The remaining balance along with a $100.00 security deposit is due 30 days in advance. You will get the security deposit back within 10 days following the party as long as there are no damages.

What's included in the party?

All parties are two hours long -- one hour of the themed activity and one hour for food and presents in an indoor room or outdoor location. All indoor rooms and outdoor areas include tables and chairs. Also included is one party attendant to assist you as needed plus a half-hour before and after the party for set-up and take-down time.

How many people can I invite?

The party fee is for up to 20 children unless otherwise specified in the party description. We strongly recommend not having more than 20. Additional children are $10.00 more per child. Parents may come as well, but we ask that you limit the guest count to 20 adults.

Are food, beverage and service ware provided?

For your convenience, we provide a variety of different food packages for an extra fee which include beverages and service ware. For more details on the individual packages, see the “Party Add-Ons” above.

May I bring in my own food?

Yes, you may bring in your own food and beverage. The only restriction is no pork or shellfish is allowed.

May I decorate the party room or outdoor location?

Yes, you are welcome to decorate the room or outdoor locations. We just ask that you use blue painters tape to hang up the decorations and remove them after the party. You may arrive a half-hour early to set up your birthday party.
