Traditional Camps

Traditional camps include music, art, sports, drama, nature, science, Israeland Jewish culture, field trips and instructional swimming two to three times per week!

Kindergarten

• Designed to aid preschoolers’ transition to Kindergarten
• Kindercamp-only party at the PJCC

Yomah

Grades 1 - 2

• Builds a foundation for independence
• One-night indoor sleepover at the PJCC

Ruach (Spirit) - Boys Only!

Grades 3 - 4, Sessions 1 & 2

  • Gives boys an opportunity to gain a sense of self-reliance and camaraderie
  • Two-night wilderness camping trip Session 1
  • Extended field trip and overnight at PJCC Session 2

Achayot (Sisters) - Girls Only!

Grades 3 - 4, Sessions 1 & 2

• Empowers girls to discover their inner strengths, while building bonds with their sisters
• Two-night wilderness camping trip Session 1
• Extended field trip and overnight at PJCC Session 2

B'Yachad (Together)

Grades 3 - 4, Sessions 3 & 4

  • Emphasis on friendship; opportunities to expand personal limits and increase self confidence
  • Two-night wilderness camping trip

Tzofim (Scouts)

Grades 5 - 6

• Emphasis on team building, exploration and social action
• Unique projects with camp specialists
• Several field trips, including a Tzofim-only extended day
• Two-night wilderness camping trip Sessions 1, 3, 4
• Extended field trip and overnight at PJCC Session 2

Shalom (Goodbye) Session

Grades K – 6

• An additional week of adventure ends the summer with a field trip each day, crafts and games.
