Preschool Camps

Preschool Camp Director

Lisa Elliott

Lisa is the year-round Program Coordinator for the PJCC Preschool and has worked as the Director of preschool winter, spring and summer camps for the past two years. Lisa has worked for the PJCC since 1996 as a teacher, preschool camps Program Director and preschool administrator. In 2008, Lisa was the recipient of a Helen Diller Family Award for Excellence in Jewish Education for her outstanding work in the field of Early Childhood Education. She is committed to making the PJCC Preschool Camps a fun and educational environment for children ages two to five years old.

Preschool Office Administrator

Vince Mostajo

Vince is one half of the team at the Preschool front office and has worked to support the preschool camp programs for the past two years. He is currently in school and majoring in business management, and during the school year he supports the directors and parents of the PJCC preschool programs.

General & Teen Camps

Camp Director

JENNY MILLS

Jenny has been a long time member of the PJCC camp community – she even went to camp here! Jenny has also worked on the camp staff since 2000 as a counselor, unit head and assistant director. Since graduating from UCLA with a degree in political science (go Bruins!), she has worked full time at the PJCC developing camp programs. Jenny looks forward to an amazing summer ahead with the amazing families and camp staff at the PJCC.

Camp Program Assistant

Ana Belo

Ana has worked with the PJCC since 2006 as a Byer Athletic Center associate and as a Member Service Associate at the Welcome Center. She is currently obtaining a degree in Biology with an emphasis in Health Sciences. For the past 10 years, she has worked with youth and teens as a teacher and as an adult leader/chaperone in a local organization. Ana’s daughter has participated in many of the PJCC programs since the center opened and even attended a few of our Specialty Camps!

Sports and Recreation Camps

Sports and Recreation Coordinator

Nicole Shifrin

Nicole has held the position of Sports and Recreation Coordinator at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center since early 2008. She returned to the PJCC after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she began her career in developing recreational programs for the UCSB faculty and staff. Nicole has a long standing relationship with the PJCC. She attended and graduated from the PJCC preschool and day school, and also worked as part of the 2003 and 2004 camp team. Nicole is excited to continue to generate programs and services for people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds as part of the PJCC family.

Sports and Recreation Coordinator

John Gradwohl

John has worked for the Peninsula Jewish Community Center for the past 24 years. He served as the Fitness Director for 19 years and has spent the past 3 years as the Sports and Recreation Coordinator. John has a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and a K–12 teaching credential. Prior to joining the PJCC, John taught for 10 years in San Mateo County schools. John also has 33 years of coaching experience in San Mateo County high schools.
