Preschool Camps
Preschool Camp Director
Lisa Elliott
Lisa is the year-round Program Coordinator for the PJCC Preschool and has worked as the Director of preschool winter, spring and summer camps for the past four years. Lisa has worked for the PJCC since 1996 as a teacher, preschool camps Program Director and preschool administrator. In 2008, Lisa was the recipient of a Helen Diller Family Award for Excellence in Jewish Education for her outstanding work in the field of Early Childhood Education. She is committed to making the PJCC Preschool Camps a fun and educational environment for children ages two to five years old.
Preschool Office Administrator
Vince Mostajo
Vince is one half of the team at the Preschool front office and has worked to support the preschool camp programs for the past two years. He is currently in school and majoring in business management, and during the school year he supports the directors and parents of the PJCC preschool programs.
K-12 Camps
Camp Director
IAN ISRAEL
Ian comes to us from Southern California (via the Chicago area) and brings with him many years of experience working with children in day and residential camp settings at Camp Chi (Chicago JCC) and Young Judea camps as well as most recently as the Site Director at High Trails Outdoor Science School in Big Bear, CA. Ian is passionate about teaching children about the environment and about creating opportunities for children to explore and try new things.
Assistant Camp Director
Nicole Shifrin
Nicole returned to the PJCC four years ago after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she began her career in developing recreational programs for the UCSB faculty and staff. Nicole has a long standing relationship with the PJCC. She attended and graduated from the PJCC preschool and Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, and also worked as part of the 2003 and 2004 camp team. Nicole also runs the Treehouse after school program during the school year that offers transportation from local Foster City schools to the PJCC for an afternoon of homework and fun! Nicole is excited to continue to generate programs and services for people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds as part of the PJCC family.
Youth & Family Programs Coordinator
adriana Strack
Adriana has worked at Camp Keff for multiple summers and is now the Youth and Family Programs Coordinator at the PJCC. She has a degree in Cultural Anthropology from UC Davis and loves to travel—she used to live in Italy! Adriana is always playing sports (especially soccer) and is a life-long SF Giants and 49ers fan. When Adriana has free time, you can find her in the kitchen cooking and baking or having a blast at Disneyland! She can’t wait to share her creativity with all the Camp kids!
