Our Camp Philosophy
Camp Keff is a safe, fun and transformative experience for children and families. We are an inclusive Jewish community that celebrates diversity. Camp is a community where people of all backgrounds can grow, learn and deepen their connections to one another. Campers spend fun-filled days enjoying new experiences, making new friends and creating memories that last a lifetime.
Preschool - Ages 2 – 5
Full and half-day preschool options available!
*New this year! Mix and Match Camps for Preschoolers! Now our youngest campers have the opportunity to customize their Winter Camp experience with fun options to choose from. Our nurturing staff is lead by early childhood educators! Ratio of adult to camper is 1:6. Days will include music, snack, playground time and opportunities to be creative in a fun and safe environment.
Awesome Athletes
Young sports fans will sample soccer, basketball and indoor climbing in addition to many non-competitive outdoor games!
Preschool Picassos
Process Art will be explored, including collage, ceramics, tempera and watercolor! “Every child is an artists”.-Picasso
Pirkei Adventurers
Young scholars will journey with Peer K. Explorer and Dafna as they ask and answer questions about the Pirkei Avot, a book of the Mishna, ethics to guide us in our daily lives. Jewish Culture will be explored through arts and crafts, cooking and games.
Young Scientists
Inquiring minds want to know, and the best way to know is to observe and experience! Processes include creating non-Newtonian fluid, experiments with absorption, gravity, magnets, and exploring with all 5 senses!
Grades K – 6
Yom Keff (Day of Fun)
Campers get the best of camp in a single day! Sports, Art, Science and everything else you love from Camp Keff. You will thank your teachers for starting your winter vacation early because you get to spend it at camp instead!
Two Ring Circus
Ever wonder what it would be like to join the circus? Well now is your chance as students develop coordination, body awareness and basic circus skills while building strength and increasing self-confidence. Activities include gymnastics, acrobatics, tumbling and circus acts.
Soccer
Kick, Pass, Shoot, Score! Campers will learn the basics of soccer, develop skills and participate in age-appropriate games and exercises. Fun is the name of the game, with a positive and very interactive coaching style, players have a blast learning the game of soccer!
Basketball
This class is a “slam dunk” for beginners as campers will be taught fundamentals and basic skills of the game. Players also benefit not only from individual skills but learing the importance of teammork, sportsmanship and hard work, through team based drills and scrimmages.
Arctic Adventures
Campers get to travel, splash and explore in our traditional winter camp program. Our diverse mix of activities includes field trips, swimming, age-appropriate nature, sports, art and music activities. Arctic Adventures week highlights the best parts of winter.
Digital Dayz
Being creative on the computer has never been so awesome! Spend your camp dayz creating blogs and digital poster boards all about YOU!. Make your own animations, movies, music and more to share with the world.
Registration Information
Registration must be completed by Friday, December 14, 2012 or until programs are full. Cancellations prior to close of business on Friday, December 7, 2012 will be refunded in full (minus a $50 per session processing fee). No refunds after December 7, 2012.
A confirmation letter will be emailed to you upon receipt of your registra¬tion form and payment. You will receive a Winter Camp Parent Packet by email prior to the start of the program. If spaces become full prior to the registration deadline, campers will be placed on a wait¬list.

Financial Assistance Available!
The PJCC is proud to provide assistance to families with financial need. Adjustments are based on financial need and budgetary considerations and require a separate application. To apply, contact us at 650.378.2704.
