We aren't afraid to be silly, creative, or ourselves!
The Treehouse is a safe, transformative, and licensed afterschool program for children in Grades TK – 5. Students receive homework help and have opportunities to participate in a wide range of daily programs and activities that emphasize creativity and relationship-building while creating lasting memories.
With our 8:1 child to teacher ratio, our exceptional staff, well-planned activities and beautiful 12-acre campus, Treehouse keeps your children active and engaged after school!
- Hours: After school - 6:00 pm (Minimum day pickup for SMFCSD on Wednesdays)
- Free transportation from designated local elementary schools and grades to the PJCC, including grades TK–5 at Audubon Elementary and Foster City Elementary and Grades 1–5 at Brewer Island Elementary and North Shorview Montessori. Treehouse monthly tuition includes transportation from designated local elementary schools and grades to the PJCC, a daily afternoon snack, care from school dismissal time to 6:00 pm, and several full day programs from 9:00 am–6:00 pm. Full day programs include a variety of activities, such as off-site field trips, free swim, special guests, and more.
Treehouse tuition for the school year is payable in 11 equal monthly payments (August–June).
2016–2017 School Year Tuition:
- TK (transitional kindergarten) and K: $645/Center Members; $675/Public
- Grades 1–5: $520/Center Members; $550/Public
2017–2018 School Year Tuition:
- TK (transitional kindergarten) and K: $665/Center Members; $700/Public
- Grades 1–5: $545/Center Members; $580/Public
The Treehouse calendar aligns as closely as possible with the SMFCSD calendar. Treehouse is closed during school break closures (seasonal Camp Keff programs are available, dependent upon enrollment), national holidays and certain Jewish holidays. Download the 2016–2017 Treehouse calendar.
Treehouse waitlist applications for the 2016–2017 school year are available online or at the Youth Office, and are accepted with a $75 non-refundable application fee.
We are currently at capacity for Grades TK–5 for the 2016–2017 school year and are accepting waitlist applications. Any applications received for Grades TK–5 will automatically be placed on the waitlist in the order they are received with current Treehouse children and their siblings, children who are PJCC members, and PJCC Preschool alumni receiving priority.
2017–2018 Enrollment Information
If you do not wish to enroll online, applications are also available at the Youth Office.
Applications are complete when submitted with a $75 non-refundable application fee. Please note submission of a Treehouse application does not guarantee nor confirm a space for your child in the Treehouse program for the 2017–2018 school year.
All completed applications received by February 14, 2017 will be considered in the initial round of applications. A PJCC employee will contact you via email regarding the status of your application by February 24, 2017. After February 14, we will accept applications on a rolling basis. If space is full, applicants will be placed on a waitlist in the order their applications were received with children who have a sibling currently attending Treehouse or PJCC Preschool, are current PJCC Center Members, and/or have attended PJCC Preschool receiving priority.
