Adventures in Art: Grades 1 - 5

In this mixed medium art class, you will get to create your own art using various materials, paints and techniques! From paintings, to crafts, to fabric art, this class will be creative, inspiring and fun! Materials fee of $40 is payable upon registration. Instructor: PJCC Staff

Ceramics: Grade 2 - 5

Einstein's Lab: Grades 2-5

3 - 2 - 1... Blast Off! Build a rocket and race your very own car while learning what truly makes them go, go, GO! Explore physical science in a way that will be sure to light up a bulb or two. $40 materials fee payable upon registration. Gymnastics: Grades K-2

Develop overall body awareness, strength, flexibility, conditioning, and self-esteem as you learn basic elemental gymnastics skills. Students will use gymnastics apparatus such as the trampoline, balance beam, kids bars and vault. The classes also include obstacle courses, many games, music and fun, creating a unique atmosphere for learning. Instructor: Peninsula Gymnastics Staff

Jewelry Jam: Grades 2 - 5

Learn the art of Jewelry making! Children are encouraged to explore their creativity and are introduced to interesting color and texture while improving hand eye coordination, small muscle development and pattern making skills all in a relaxed environment. Kids Night Out!

Kids - join us for a very special night out at the PJCC! Kids Night Out will feature a fun evening of active games in the gym, arts and crafts, meeting new friends, a yummy dinner and lots of fun! This program is for kids in grades K - 5. Grab your friends and come to the PJCC for a fantastic Saturday night out!

Lights, Camera, Action!: Grades 2 - 5

This class will be an active, hands on experience introducing the basics of creating a video. Students will work with a 'green screen' in creating a short music video and/or interact with their favorite animated characters in creating a short interactive video. 'Green screen' is an easy to use special effect that allows the students to interact with a green background and in easy and fun way! The end result is a DVD to take home with your child acting/performing with their favorite animated character! No class 2/20. Instructor: Art & Soul Music Staff

Musical Theater: Grades 2 - 5

Sing-Dance-Act! This class will provide students the opportunity to explore acting exercises, lyrical and jazz movements for musical theater and ensemble singing. Students will learn musical numbers from current and classical musicals in perparation for a special in-class performance on the last day of class. Organizational Skills for Academic Success: Grades 2 - 5

Want to help your child be more independent, focused and organized with their homework and other daily tasks? Then this class is for you! In this interactive class, children will understand how they process sensory information and learn tools for self-regulation and focus. Participants will identify their individual sensory preferences to guide their organizational, academic and social skills. Instructor: Deanne Kelly, OTR/L is an occupational therapist. She has been practicing for 27 years with children of all ages.
