Grades PreK - 5
Explore the kid-friendly community at the PJCC and discover why we are a great place for kids of all ages to grow, learn, and deepen their connections to one another. Take a class, join a team, or attend a fun event!
We have classes for kids from age 1 month to 10 years. Soccer, cooking, gymnastics, LEGOs, basketball, art, music, and so many more!
Important Registration Information for PJCC Youth Enrichments:
In an effort to allow Center members the opportunity to participate in a variety of youth classes, please take note of our registration policy. Center Members will have the option to enroll in three free youth classes during the first week of youth class registration. Center Members will be automatically removed from the last free class registered for, over the initial three class allotment, during the first week of registration. After the first week of registration, and as space allows, Center Members will be able to register for additional free classes.

Animal Safari Field Trip: Grades K-5
Grab your friends and join us for a safari field trip to the San Francisco Zoo. From mammals that roam the land to birds that fly high in the sky, learn about animals and their habitats through exciting games and activities. It'll be an otterly fantastic day! Chess: Grades K - 5
Chess offers a fun and intellectually-challenging chess education experience designed for all levels of young chess players. No previous experience of chess is required. Students will learn the fundamentals of chess, tactics and strategies. Children must be in grades K-5. Registration required. Create, Mix, Mingle & Paint Workshop for Kids
Create your own masterpiece painting! In this special workshop, an art instructor will guide you step by step to create a mixed media painting using different methods of art. Do It Yourself for Kids!
Ever wondered how your favorite candy was made? Or wanted to customize your very own soap? In this class you will explore a variety of every day objects and learn how to do it yourself! Intermediate Coding 101 for Kids: Grades 3-5
Refine coding skills in this intermediate coding class. Children will continue to learn and develop fundamental programming concepts including creating animations and interactive projects.Children must have previous coding experience. Kids Night Out!: Age 3 - Grade 5
Calling all moms and dads... take the night off and send your kids to join their friends! In these exciting theme-filled evenings, children will enjoy games, dinner, dessert, a movie and more! Kidventor's Lab: Grades K-5
Join us for our second annual Kidventor's Lab where kids will have the unique opportunity to explore things they shouldn't try at home! Build, dismantle, mix, and more in one our workshop spaces specifically designed for kid inventors! Registration required.
Promote your child's self development through this engaging Martial Arts class. Krav Maga is known as the most practical self-defense system and is the official hand-to-hand combat system of the Israeli military. This training program will teach kids basic defensive skills in a safe, non-competitive environment. Children will learn a wide range of techniques through age-appropriate games and drills. PJCC Newsies: Grades 2 - 5
Extra, extra, read all about it! In this class, children will become star reporters as they dive into the world of newspaper reporting by interviewing, writing, editing, photographing and more. The session will culminate in a final newspaper publication complete with articles, letters to the editor, comics and much more, designed and created by our very own newsies! Technology 101 for Kids
Become a technology whiz in this introductory class! Children will practice and refine basic computer skills, learn computer programming concepts (including problem solving), and more! Each child must have a signed technology waiver in order to participate. Registration required. Instructor: PJCC Staff
