CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification
This American Red Cross course combines discussion and video with hands on skills training to promote effective learning and keep students motivated. Course includes basic CPR skills for adults, children, and infants; two-rescuer CPR training; use of a resuscitation mask, a bag-valve mask, and an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Students will receive a certificate valid for two years in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Note: Lifeguards will receive certificates in CPR/AED for Lifeguards valid for one year. Instructors - Cheryl Ogden and Kristin Hoska

CPR/AED for the Work Place, Schools and Communities
The purpose of the course is to help participants identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions in their environment, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for first aide care. This course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly ill or injured person until more advanced medical care arrives. Swim Lessons - Adult Beginner/ Intermediate
Beginners: For beginner swimmers who wish to improve their swimming skills. Swimmers will learn to: Develop a high comfort level in and especially under the water. Master a prone float, swim a short distance in a relaxed state and to return to a standing position unassisted. Develop a relaxed back position. Master the ability to prone float, turn over to back float, then return to prone float position. Advanced: For advanced swimmers who wish to build upon and improve their swimming skills. Swimmers will learn: Freestyle side breathing. Backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly with correct breathing patterns. How to develop into a well rounded adult swimmer capable of an independent swimming workout.
