Most group exercise classes in the Health & Fitness Complex are complimentary with Center Membership, with the exception of Specialty Series or Master Classes, for which there is a fee, indicated with a ($).

A Postoperative Workout for Breast Cancer Survivors
The PJCC is proud to offer The Pink Ribbon Program, a postoperative workout, open to all breast cancer survivors whether surgery was eight weeks or 20 years ago, designed to enhance recovery for breast cancer patients.
Bollywood Dance Series
Monsoon Dance Company presents this specialty series of non-stop fun and movement accompanied with energetic music.Each class in this series will encompass a warm-up and cardiovascular section filled with Bollywood choreography and music, core conditioning, a cool down and stretching period. Friday Night Knockout!
This empowering 75-minute workout allows you to unleash your inner warrior, burn calories and sweat! The class focuses on upper/lower body and core conditioning through boxing drills to enhance your technique and agility. Boxing gloves are required for this class.

Introduction to Tai Chi
Each Introduction class will present what you need to know to walk into a class with confidence. Technique and how-to will be discussed. Take this chance to try it all in fun and non-threatening environment. All levels of exercisers are welcome to attend.
Kickboxing Workshop Featuring Tae Bo (R) Fitness
The workshop is designed to focus on perfecting your punching and kicking technique. In addition, the workshop will include concentrated combo drills using focus mitts, high intensity cardio and robust strength training. Proper technique reduces the risk of injury and will take you to a elevated level in your workout. Tae Bo (R) Fitness trains you to respond mentally and physically with speed and accuracy. Veteran instructors, Judy Aranda and Nikki Adams, are certified Tae Bo (R) Elite Fitness Instructors and have been featured in Tae Bo (R) DVDs as well as Tae Bo (R) TV online videos.
Movement & Dance Workshop for Women
Rhythms of the Jewish Calendar
Join other women to explore Jewish mystical teachings through movement, music, free-style dance, art and journaling to deepen your spiritual practice in community. The workshop opens with teachings related to the Jewish calendar, then focuses on gently guided movement explorations. Options for drawing, journaling or resting to integrate the experience are provided. No previous experience with dance or Judaism is required. Registration Required.
Instructor: Julie Emden directs the Embodied Learning Initiative at Jewish LearningWorks in San Francisco. She is a graduate of teaching certification programs in Dance Midrash from the Elat Chayyim Center for Jewish Spirituality and in Movement-based Expressive Arts Education and Therapy from Tamalpa Institute.
The Embodied Jewish Learning Initiative is a program of Jewish LearningWorks, with support from the Joan and Robert Sinton Philanthropic Fund, the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment, Barbara and Christopher Wilson, The Opaline Fund, and Paul and Sheri Robbins.

Summer Fitness Jam
Come dance with us! One and a half hours of high energy, expertly choreographed dance fitness coming at you during this free community wide event held at the PJCC. Sweat with some of the best instructors in the area as they lead you through different dance formats (for example: Zumba, U-Jam Fitness and Bollywood) and help you celebrate your own fitness and the end of the summer.
Light snacks will be served.
Tai Chi Workshops
Join Marlon Bishop as he takes different subjects and parts of his weekly classes and breaks these down so students can perfect their form and technique. This is not a workout, but a workshop for students who want to perfect their practice. Registration Suggested.
Weight Loss Your Way
Goals and objectives - Inspire healthy weight-loss through nutrition education, recipe exchange, personalized goal setting and holding members accountable to their goals.
45 minute weekly session includes: weigh-in and 35 minutes of educational lectures/conversations on nutrition, wellness topics and weekly recipe exchange. Topics change weekly.
An unlimited session pass must be purchased to attend this program.
Women on Weights - W.O.W.
Women on Weights is a small group strength training program designed specifically to teach women the basic fundamentals of strength training and its benefits. This results oriented program focuses on building muscular strength and endurance by using weight room machines and free weights, outdoor cross training, and variety of other workouts to keep you motivated, energized, and excited. This course will teach you how basic core training, strength training, circuit training, and flexibility training apply to a woman's body and physiology, which will help you reach your general fitness and weight loss goals. This intensive one-hour program meets at various times durning the week and is limited to 3 - 6 participants. If you enjoy the energy and dynamics of working in a small group, then Women on Weights is for you.
