Swim lessons for all ages are available year-round at the PJCC. Choose between group, semi-private and private lesson classes for children, teens and adults.

Youth Fitness

Youth Fitness is specifically designed for grades K-5. We offer varying classes both paid and included in the youth membership. Your child is certain to find something exciting and challenging at the PJCC, your center for life.

Fundamentals of Fitness Certification Program
Ages 11-12
Saturdays 12:30 - 1:30 pm
Children with Center Memberships are invited to enroll in our exciting new Fitness Certification Program. This educational 4-part course will introduce the fundamentals of physical fitness and safe use of exercise equipment. After successfully completing the four week certification program, children may enjoy unlimited access to the Fitness and Cardio rooms to exercise alongside a parent or supervising adult. Pre-registration is required at the Welcome Center prior to class. Meet at the fitness Desk in Fitness East.
Week One - Safety and etiquette--an introduction to fitness
Week Two - Build your most important muscle--your heart
Week Three - Develop flexibility and core strength
Week Four - Learn how to increase strength
Children with Center Membership - $40
Additional siblings - $20
One-on-one option also available.One day certification process - $80/Member $40/Sibling
