No previous yoga experience necessary.

Rabbis Roundtable:The Story of Jonah

Read on Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), the much-beloved Book of Jonah tells the story of a recalcitrant prophet who must learn lessons of forgiveness and compassion. Four senior spiritual leaders of the North Peninsula will engage in a discussion moderated by Rabbi Lavey Derby on the meaning and relevance of this well-known Biblical story. In the course of the conversation they will share their personal beliefs about God, human nature and the power of forgiveness. Reservations recommended.

Participants will include Rabbi Dennis Eisner of Peninsula Temple Beth El, Rabbi Nat Ezray of Congregation Beth Jacob, Rabbi Daniel Feder of Peninsula Temple Sholom and Rabbi Corey Helfand of Peninsula Sinai Congregation.
