PJCC Holidays & Celebrations
In partnership with local Jewish organizations and synagogues, the PJCC holds family-friendly events celebrating Jewish holidays. Some of our most popular cultural events include:

Shabbat
Each Friday we celebrate Shabbat at 3:00 in the lobby. All are welcome to attend.
Havdallah Swim and Big Screen Party
Bring the whole family and join us for a summertime swimming, movie and Havdallah (in italics) celebration! Check out a movie on the big screen as you take a dip in the indoor pool and then enjoy a delicious vegetarian dinner. There will be crafts and games for the kids and and a special parent learning session about Havdallah (the special ceremony that marks the end of Shabbat). We will conclude the evening with rockin' Havdallah sing-a-long.

Lag B'Omer Singing and S'mores
Take a break from your everyday life and join us for our 2nd Annual Lag B'Omer party and bonfire! Activities for the whole family include a delicious hot dog dinner (veggie options available), bonfire with s'mores and a sing-a-long, crafts, games, and even haircuts for the kids. Lag B'Omer is the 33rd Day of the Omer period between Passover and Shavuot, and is a day devoted to outdoor fun and revelry. Space is limited - pre-registration recommended. This program is co-sponsored by Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School.

The Great Hametz Hunt!
April 5
Bring your family to this pre-Passover party which will include a vegetarian pizza dinner followed by an educational scavenger hunt for Hametz (leavened food we can't eat during Passover) for school-age children, Passover craft activities for pre-schoolers, and an adult learning session about the meaning of Passover. Each family will also recieve a kit to use to search for Hametz at home.
