Women's Discussion Group
Most women know the value of support and understanding from other women. Be part of a new on-going monthly women's discussion group to focus on sharing ideas, challenges and viewpoints particular to women in our society. Each month the group will decide on a topic for the next monthly meeting, so that participants have a chance to think about the subject prior to the meeting. Here are some of the topics suggested by women who have expressed interest in the group: The value of women's friendships; Managing relationships with adult children; How to get along when living alone; Age is just a number: Accepting life and health changes; Challenges of being in the 'sandwich generation'. (Note: these are just some initial ideas - the group will decide which subjects to choose.) Betty Burr of the PJCC staff will serve as facilitator/participant. For more information call Betty at 650.378.2698.
