The PJCC organizes exciting day trips for adults. We travel on our wheelchair accessible buses from convenient pick-up points on the Peninsula. Home pick-ups are available (when possible) for an additional fee of $10 per location. All trips include transportation and a professional escort. (Tickets without transportation are also available.
Attend a play by ACT, Berkeley Rep, TheatreWorks and the Best of Broadway. Tour the de Young Museum, Legion of Honor, MOMA and the Cantor Museum at Stanford. Savor an opera at the War Memorial Opera House and so much more!

Carmel and the Bach Festival- 3 Days, 2 Nights
Enjoy the sweet sounds of 17th century masterpieces while you explore the town of Carmel, famous for its scenery, lifestyle and local attractions. Accommodations at the Cypress Inn, a Mediterranean- style hotel owned by Carmel resident and luminary Doris Day. This dog-friendly hotel has a spacious lobby and fireplace, bar and patio and is located in the center of town. Trip includes: Accommodations, two breakfasts, transportation in the PJCC bus, escorts, luggage handling, one dinner. Tickets the Carmel Bach Festival are optional. Concerts: Wednesday 2:30 pm recital: $10. Thursday evening main concert - J.S. Bach-Brandenburg Concertos No, 1 - 6. $40. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due with your registration along with payment for the Bach Festival concerts. Final payment is due by February 26, 2008. No refunds unless your place can be filled. Trip Cancellation Insurance is recommended.

SF Opera presents Lucia di Lammermoor
Lucia de Lammermoor By GAETANO DONIZETTI - 2 pm War Memorial Opera House Libretto by Salvatore Cammarano The heroine of Donizetti's tragic masterpiece-a young woman who is driven to madness when forced to marry a man she does not love-has inspired memorable performances by some of opera's most luminous stars. Production stars Natalie Dessay and Giuseppe Filianoti. Seating is in the Orchestra. This trip is subsidized by a grant from the Senior excursion Fund of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund in order to increase access and opportunity for seniors to engage in the cultural life of the San Francisco Bay Area. Registration priority is given to elderly persons who would otherwise not be able to attend this event due to lack of mobility, opportunity, and/or financial resources.

The Thomashefskys: A life in the Yiddish Theater
In an evening of music and memories, Michael Tilson Thomas recreates the world of his grandparents, Yiddish theater legends Boris and Bessie Thomashefsky. A semi-staged production with the SF Symphony Orchestra. Seating is in the Premier Orchestra Rows R,S,T,U,V,W.
