STAY FIT FOR LIFE
The PJCC offers an exciting fitness program specifically designed for sedentary older adults who exercise less than 60 minutes a week.

Older Adults
The PJCC has a long tradition of service for older adults. We offer group outings, educational programs, social and volunteer opportunities and transportation.

Get Up & Go Program
A transportation and activity program for
older adults.
The PJCC offers older adults transportation to appointments, such as medical, dental, shopping, hair dressing, banking, etc.
It also provides opportunities for older adults to participate in engaging programs and activities with others. $5 round-trip.

Aqua Fitness
Take your workout to the pool with this invigorating, non-impact class. Use water resistance to develop strength and cardiovascular endurance. Swimming experience is not necessary. Appropriate for all levels of fitness. Please see our indoor pool schedule to find a time that suits you best. See indoor pool schedule for times.
Beth El Senior Friendship Club
Each Thursday at noon, members arrive at Temple Beth El with a bag lunch and enjoy a program that begins at 1:00, followed by 'Afterthoughts' at 2:00 pm. Coffee and dessert are provided. Get Up & Go: Conversations with My Grandchildren - A Memoir
Marion Mostny and her husband escaped their native Austria, leaving behind all their family. Their journey would lead through two more continents where they knew noone and didn't speak the language. Marion will talk about her adventures and the book she wrote to tell them to her grandchildren. She will also encourage anyone else to share some of their own life stories.

Get Up & Go: Piano Classics - Beethoven and Chopin Favorites
Classical pianist Eman Isadiar will delight us with the Beethoven Pathetique Sonata as well as some of the most familiar Chopin pieces in the classical piano repertoire. Eman is the founder of the Peninsula Conservatory and has received recognition both locally and abroad from experts like Maestro George Cleve.

Get Up & Go: The Beat and the Amazing Steel Drum
You'd never think such beautiful music could come from something that looks like it holds a barbecue. But local musician and band leader Michael McMorrow uses this steel drum and his Latin guitar to get your toes and your spirits moving. You can even get into the act by playing one of his small rhythm instruments.

Get Up & Go: The Daytimers Women's Barbershop Quartet
Barbershop harmony isn't just for men any longer. The Daytimers Women's 4-part harmonoy barbershop quartet is part of a larger Bay Area Showcase Chorus which is committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop 4-part a cappella music through education and performance. This Chorus has won nine regional Sweet Adelines championships
