Specialty Programs & Classes: Early Childhood Education

All programs offer age appropriate materials and activities, such as music, arts and crafts and indoor and outdoor play. Toddlers engage in lively, enriching activities geared to their interests and attention span.

Beginning Hoopsters: Ages 3 - 5

And the crowd goes wild! Beginning hoopsters will learn basketball basics such as dribbling, shooting and defense. Your child will thrive through positive coaching and skills will be reinforced through fun drills and actual games. Registration required. Instructor: Rebound Basketball Academy

Happy Feet Dance: Ages 3 - 5

Develop balance, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and self-esteem while learning tap, jazz and ballet using fun props. Please note that this is a 50 minute program. Instructor: Laura Marsh is a staff member of Happy Feet.

Incredible Art of Cooking: Age 3 - 5

Explore healthy cooking through recipes, selecting and measuring ingredients, food preparation and tasting. $20 materials fee payable upon registration. Registration required. Instructor: Jeannie Solomon is the PJCC Nutrition and Wellness Coach and a certified chef.

Kee Tov Soccer: Ages 4 - 5

Children thrive with this non-competitive curriculum and positive coaching style in a pressure-free environment. Have fun while learning soccer basics such as kicking, dribbling, shooting, heading and goalkeeping while participating in age-appropriate games and exercises designed specifically for your child! Lil Monkey Gymnastics: Ages 3 - 5

From balance beam to bars, basic tumbling and more, your lil monkey will have a blast in this introduction to gymnastics. Masterpiece Painting: Ages 3 - 5

To draw you must close your eyes and sing'-Picasso
Join us in this fun, out of the box painting class. We will explore painting through Picasso's eyes, looking at objects they way they are and then mixing them all up. Kids will learn about shape, color, composition and even a little Art History in this exploratory class. Come ready to get messy, have fun and enjoy the intrinsic process of creating art. Music Fun Time: Ages 3 - 5

Get ready for a symphony of sound! Using curriculum guided by research from Johns-Hopkins that children 7 years and under can read music and begin playing instruments, Music Fun Time is the ultimate introduction to the world of music. Through crafts, worksheets, games, instruments and singing, we teach children in a fun & exciting way how to play, read and appreciate music. Bravo, Maestro! In this hands-on course designed specifically for 4-5 year olds, your child will explore basic science concepts and learn in an environment that will encourage and engage their natural curiosity. Shabbat Club: Ages 3 - 5

B'ruchim Ha'ba'im (Welcome) to Shabbat Club! On Friday afternoons we will dive deeper into the wonderful Shabbat experience, as well as learn more about Jewish holidays and customs. Students will explore Shabbat and Jewish culture through a variety of art, sensory, music, stories, cooking, and outdoor play activities. Instructor: Rachel Mylan

Tiger Tots: Ages 3 - 5

In this martial arts class, children play games and practice drills that help develop balance, coordination, strength and reflexes, as well as improve discipline and listening skills.
